Two Emmys in Two Years

Bobby Grubic, aka Bobby G, received his third Emmy Award, which is given by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). He received his third Emmy from the NATAS Southeast Chapter at a televised ceremony in Atlanta.

Just like last year, Bobby G was awarded the Emmy in the category of Best Commercial and this latest award he earned as a Creative Director for the commercial titled, “The Steak – Cook It Right”. The commercial was created for Atlanta Gas Light, one of the biggest distributors of natural gas on the East Coast.

The award ceremony was held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the Grand Hyatt – Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia with live television coverage. The guest hosts were Judge Alex and Monica Kaufman. Bobby was not only an Emmy Award recipient this year, but he was also a co-host and award presenter in several categories, including Best Music Performance.

The congenial duo, Bobby G and Rissi Palmer (upcoming Country Music star) entertained the audience for half an hour while Miss Georgia 2007 and her runner up assisted in handing out the awards as the recipients were called onto the stage.

Bobby was awarded with his first Emmy back in 1999 as Director / Producer of a TV commercial, which he wrote and produced as a student of Mass Communication in Nashville. In 2006 he received another Emmy as a Creative Director / Producer for yet another successful TV commercial production that won several major industry awards.

Also, he is the winner of 13 Telly Awards, which are awarded for film and TV production, six eminent awards for web interactive productions; four web awards and two Internet advertising awards, which are given by the Web Marketing Association. This successful versatile artist is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, American Society of Media Photography, and American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
